The ZAR 49 SL is the entry point to the latest generation of ZAR models. Delivering all of the features that ZAR are renowned for, including the deep vee hull and abundance of seating and storage space, the SL models build further on this unrivalled practicality. The practical wraparound forward seating area maximises the seating capacity and provides a foundation for the optional bow table/sunbed infill.
A unique feature of the 49 SL is adjustable aft seat, which can be configured either as a conventional bench, or flipped up to provide a leaning bolster to provide a commanding driving position. When combined with the standard adjustable helm it is possible for all drivers to find a comfortable position.
The ZAR 49 SL is a leader in its class with the capacity to install engines up to 100 HP. However, due to optimal weight distribution it will perform well with as little as 40 HP, for those not looking for ultimate top speed.
As with all ZAR models there is plentiful under deck storage space, with a cavernous aft locker, as well as storage beneath all seats.
The ZAR 49 SL is easily towed by a modest family car, and depending on engine size, can be supplied on either an unbraked or braked roller trailer.
An optional 100 Litre integral fuel tank can provide additional range if required, and further options including a table, sunbed infill, shower, refrigerator, bimini top and Flexiteek decking are all available to tailor your ZAR 49 SL to your personal requirements.
